This short song is intended to offer a fresh musical setting of the Kyrie Eleison, a short prayer that has been used in worship from very ancient times. In the West, lines traditionally alternate between “Lord, Have Mercy” and “Christ, Have Mercy.”
Lyrics
Lord, have mercy.
Christ, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy upon us.
Christ, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy upon us.
